Frequently Asked Questions

What is your availability for appointments?

I offer in-office appointments in Rancho Cucamonga and Telehealth (video chat) appointments to anyone in the state of California. Although my availability varies, my general hours are 10am-2pm on Tue, Wed & Thur.

What is the cost per session?

My professional fee is $180 per 45-50 minute session. Sometimes in couples therapy, we may agree to schedule 80 minute sessions to allow more time for each partner to engage, at which time the fee is $240.

Do you take Insurance?

I do not accept insurance; however if you are seeking reimbursement for the cost of services from your insurance provider, I'm happy to provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your provider. If you elect not to utilize insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

In certain circumstances, I may offer a sliding scale to assist with financial strains. Please contact me directly or schedule a consult to discuss further.

How long does each therapy session last?

Individual therapy sessions are normally 45-50 minutes. Couples sessions can be  45-50 minutes or 80-90 to allow each partner ample opportunity to participate. We will collaborate to determine the length of session ahead of scheduling.

How long will I/we be in therapy?

The length of therapy truly depends on the couple's individual needs and goals and therefore is difficult to predict. Some goals may be achieved in 3 months while others may need a year or more. We can discuss this more in our first session.

What if therapy isn't working?

Therapy is a collaborative process and works best when all parties involved are committed to doing their part. There are no guarantees about what will happen; however rest assured that we will be communicating and measuring progress frequently.
